At my previous job, we loved creating activities by putting pictures on blocks and calling it “create a _________.” We did monsters, animals, houses and much more. So, I thought I would create a toy that allowed kids to use the same kind of creativity.
I laser cut the characters into the blocks and connected them with a dowel. I started with the monsters and then designed some robots for the next set. These toys are easy to grab when you are traveling and easy for baby to carry around. Since it is all one piece, you don’t have to worry about keeping up with parts.
I want to try some other characters. I have thought about doing trucks and even thought about doing custom family blocks. Our family has 3 humans and a pup. I also have a small dream of working with an artist on some custom character drawings. So many possibilities! We would love to hear your suggestions in the comments!
